One of our great success stories! These birds are eating seeds from Hakea Rostrata, an indigenous species that we planted about 4 years ago. This area was formerly a tree lucerne forest, an introduced weed. I had dubbed it the "sad forest" because when you walked in there it was dark and silent with no sign of life.
