Managed to get to the final 3 days of a Mallee Fowl mound survey with some lovely people from Australian Wildlife Conservancy at Dakalanta Sanctuary on Eyre Peninsula. It was my first ever volunteering stint with this organisation which undertakes such great work around the country. I was obviously there for the work, so didn't get many photos other than some on my phone and a few with my camera on the last morning.
Two nights on the way home provided some more opportunities, in the Gawler Ranges (where I was surprised to NOT see any rock wallabies for the first time), and at Lake Gilles. Way less photos than my usual haul, but a different kind of trip this time, here is a selection : (incomplete ID)
